Pickleball protection gear — launching 2026
Most pickleball gear is tennis gear with a new label on it.
REKA Sports is built specifically for pickleball, starting with the elbow, wrist, and grip protection serious players actually need.

The problem
Every dink, flick, and reset puts lateral stress on your elbow tendon. It's repetitive, it builds up, and most players don't feel it until it's already a problem. The gear they reach for was built for tennis or the gym. None of it was designed with this sport in mind.
What we're building
We're launching with the three things every serious player reaches for and nobody has bothered to make well for pickleball specifically.
Launching first
Elbow sleeve
Compression sleeve built around the lateral elbow stress of pickleball. Targets the tendon that takes the hit on every dink, flick, and reset. Not a generic sports sleeve with a new label on it.
Launching with
Wrist wraps
18 and 24 inch options. Thumb loop that stays put. Breathable cotton-elastic blend built around how pickleball actually loads your wrist, which is nothing like weightlifting.
Launching with
Paddle overgrips
0.6mm PU, slightly thinner than tennis grips because pickleball paddles are thinner. Tacky when it matters, consistent when you're sweating. Sold in threes because you'll go through them.
Why REKA
Designed around pickleball specifically
Every dimension and material choice starts with how pickleball loads your wrist and hand. Most brands take a tennis product, change the label, and call it done. We started from scratch.
Packaging that doesn't waste your money
Clean and minimal. What you're paying for is inside the box. The logo is on the product where you'll actually see it, on the court.
For players who want to keep playing
Pickleball elbow keeps more players off the court than anything else. REKA is protection and performance gear for people who take their game seriously enough to want to still be playing it in ten years.
Born in New Zealand
REKA means excellent in Māori. We use it because it sets a clear bar. Adequate doesn't interest us. Competitive doesn't either. Excellent does.
Our story
Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the US and the gear market has followed. Most of what's out there is borrowed from other sports, given a pickleball label, and sold at a price that suggests it's something new. It isn't.
REKA Sports was started to fix that. We're based in New Zealand, a country with a serious sporting culture, and we built this brand because nobody else was treating pickleball players like the athletes they actually are.
We're not chasing scale. We're chasing trust.
